Factory Technology
Steam Sterilization
A natural process which kills, eliminates, and deactivates all microorganisms in product using saturated steam at sufficient pressure & temperatures. This process helps to increase the shelf life of the products.
Drying
A process that removes moisture content in spices and herbs to a certain standard value in a room dryer using heat.
Cleaning Destoner
A machine for separating spices from large fragments of undesirable foreign materials such as stones, plastic fibers, and others.
Slicing
A process of cutting rhizome (fresh root) spices such as ginger, galangal, turmeric, temulawak (curcuma xanthorrhiza), kencur (lesser galangal) into slices.
Pre-crusher
A process of grinding spices (barks, roots, leaves) into smaller materials using a pre-crusher.
Hammer Mill
Equipment used for grinding large spices into finer materials (powder).
Pin Mill
Equipment used for grinding large spices into finer materials (powder).
Roller Grinder
Equipment used for crushing dried spices into a certain size according to product specifications (cracked / powder).
Cleaning Respirator
Machinery for separating spices from dust and other fine foreign materials. This is often used for broken and sliced-dried spices.
